Subjects Offered Learning
A wide range of subjects is offered for students in Years 5–10. From Year 11, the choice of both Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) subjects and QCAA approved vocational subjects are offered.
Students who meet the requirements of the QCAA are eligible to receive the Queensland Certificate of Education or the Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement at the end of Year 12.
Learning support is available for students who are identified as requiring additional assistance or who are capable of extension studies.
Access to academic educational opportunities provided by universities is supported, and for students at St Rita’s studying the vocational qualifications we offer, opportunities with TAFE and other registered training organisations (RTOs) is encouraged. School-based apprenticeships and traineeships, with achievement based on industry endorsed competency standards, and work experience are also available.
