Counselling Student Life
The supportive staff of St Rita’s College take a professional and personable approach to the social and emotional wellbeing of our students. St Rita’s is a school where students are both supported and empowered in meeting any challenges which they may experience.
Our Guidance Counsellors can assist with both personal and educational counselling. The latter may include motivation and liaison with the Head of Program - Senior Studies and/or Head of Study Skills, with focus on equity and special provisions around assessment. Referrals to outside agencies may be discussed regarding additional support in both areas which may lead to a diagnosis and/or psychometric assessments. The emphasis is always on early intervention.
Students and their parents can access this service through the relevant Head of House, Student Wellbeing Officer, or directly with the Guidance Counsellors.
